01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of AutoPartsPro, a marketplace for new aftermarket parts and quality-tested used OEM parts. By creating an account, placing an order or listing parts, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the marketplace.

02Our role in the marketplace

AutoPartsPro operates the marketplace and reviews sellers before they can list. Parts are supplied and shipped by independent sellers, not by us. The contract of sale for a part is between you and that seller; we provide the platform, payment processing, order support and dispute assistance.

03Accounts

• You must be 18 or older and provide accurate, current information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
• Seller accounts require a completed application, valid business and licensing details, and approval by our team. Seller staff accounts act on behalf of the seller.
• We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, provide false information or harm other users.

04Listings and part accuracy

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including part numbers, condition grades, photos, warranty and fitment. Used parts are photographed and described as inspected, and mileage or damage notes are provided where available.

Fitment guidance is a research aid, not a guarantee. Always confirm compatibility with your vehicle's year, make, model, trim and engine — or ask the seller — before ordering. Parts ordered in error may be returned only under the seller's return terms.

05Orders, prices and payment

• Prices, taxes, shipping and any core charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Orders are confirmed once payment is authorised and the seller accepts the order.
• If a part is unavailable, mispriced in obvious error, or fails inspection before dispatch, the seller or we may cancel and refund that item in full.
• Payment is collected on behalf of the seller; the seller is paid after delivery and the return window allow it.

06Shipping, delivery and pickup

Delivery times are estimates provided by the seller or courier and are not guaranteed. Express courier delivery is available on eligible parts only; oversized, hazardous or restricted items ship by standard freight or pickup.

You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and a reachable phone number. Risk in the part passes to you on delivery, or on collection for local pickup.

07Returns, warranty and refunds

• Return windows and warranty periods are set by each seller and shown on the listing.
• Parts must be returned in the condition supplied, with any included hardware and packaging.
• Warranty does not cover labour, towing, rental or consequential costs, or damage from incorrect installation.
• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

08Reviews and user content

Reviews must reflect your genuine experience with the part or order. You may post anonymously, but the real author is recorded so reviews stay accountable. We may hide or remove reviews and other content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or unrelated to a purchase, and we may moderate listings the same way.

By posting content you give us permission to display it on the marketplace and in related marketing, and you confirm you own it.

09Acceptable use

We may remove listings and suspend accounts that break these rules, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.

• Do not list stolen, counterfeit, recalled or unsafe parts.
• Do not misrepresent condition, mileage, origin or brand.
• Do not scrape, resell or misuse marketplace data, or interfere with the platform's security.
• Do not impersonate another person or business.

10Intellectual property

The AutoPartsPro name, logo, design and software belong to us. Brand and manufacturer names shown on listings belong to their owners and are used only to identify the parts. You may not copy or reuse marketplace content without permission.

11Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The marketplace is provided on an as-is basis. We do not manufacture or inspect every part and do not warrant any part beyond the seller's stated warranty. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of use, lost income, towing or labour.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes will be handled by the courts of that province, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.

13Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the marketplace changes; the date at the top shows the current version and continuing to use the marketplace means you accept it.
